What to Do If You Get Distracted,
A poem
Pull Yourself to your breath
When it goes unnoticed
when our given tests
are not that special —
they just happen
without a scheduled date.
and people we care about,
weren’t appreciating too.
Then
When in doubt,
it is much better to over say, over feel, over do,
than to under-communicate
and hope for the best to be left upon the table.
So many reasoning
for such small things.
realize soon, how alienated
it’s best for you to awaken.
we are there,
feeling it as a source of resistance
one preventing us to grow,
Will you stand with me?
that’s a no, since you chose distraction.
sad for you.
But I won’t stop flying
with my instincts,
I’ll keep focused on my craft
Dear family I’m so sorry
but I don’t want to get you involved
I know that you’ve been insistent,
I know that I made compromises.
Just like owls,
we’re chasing only pleasure
flying after bugs
to escape from our duty.
these 3 eyes are always guiding me
and the divine synchrony —
It’s the one giving light to our subtlest senses.
My time had been inconsistent,
If you are worthy?
To answer thee: No.
For everyone that I meet
that won’t help me to evolve
is either a distraction
or a lesson to be learned.
And thank you, for I have gotten a few lessons;
That I seek your mouth only for the sake of survival.
I guess my mind is in another place,
I started running around the world,
I started carying bags like a king.
It’s not a matter of being incomplete
It’s about being better than I was
I had my days already
where the main goal
was only following you along, doing all for you.
And all you did was to worry me
such a perfectionist
I cannot even finish this draft
This is to the ones I love,
This is to the ones I miss
Brothers and sisters
from all around the world,
Your voice needs to be heard,
We need you to be happy
the other side of the coin
In a world where the wall
has no side at all
we build boundaries, destroyed the bridges
in the other side of the moon
We seek;
trough a process,
one that removes fear
allowing faith to express itself.

because deep down
I know that you cannot
grow from what you are
