Motivation is a beast. And Then The Murders Began.

Sometimes we can easily wake up, do our routines, completing lists and list of 20 items each. Sometimes we are just in an intense desire to do things. Sometimes we caught ourselves in a deep spiral of procrastination and negative toughs.

What changes in our minds that makes us go from total inertia to a highly active state? I can’t say for anyone, but I can speak for myself. In my opinion, motivation comes when we are truly connected with our art.

Connection with our art is when the effort we make stop being friction and becomes a building material for a better future. A better future not only to our family or closest ones, a better future includes both ourselves and our society. I love understanding my thought process, and also love to create and structure knowledge.

What motivates me the most is thinking and projecting new things instead of wasting my time in places which won’t give me any benefit in exchange. Solving problems became a daily habit, being consistent, resilient and connected with my true essence is what really gives me the urge to wakeup daily. But I think that this answer is too general, so I’m going to give a more specific overview.

Well, having and staying motivated is a dream of many. Putting effort is not easy and if we can enhance the process, the outcome will be better and more result based. But giving without reason is not only hard to do but easy to stop doing. So I must define my priorities in order to keep on going.

What are them? Well, impacting and helping other peoples lives have huge weight on the scale. Teaching mutual love, sharing how to become our greatest version and how to create our future is not only important to me but highly motivational. When motivation to keep doing these things fade, I must keep effectiveness in things that I already do.

Getting motivated is one thing, acting and starting is a whole another subject and it could have massive amounts of information. What scares me the most is not finding in my acts a way to keep innovating and helping others, what I fear is reaching a point of stagnation and then, dropping out from the abyss, forgetting everything I once cared a lot.

But yes, the power to avoid it is only mine, and if I keep focused on my process of enhancement. Kaizen(改善) is my new lifestyle, and for now on, the continuous improvement is my philosophy of life, business and self-development.

So yes, to conclude, keeping motivated is very important, but acting towards our path means a lot more. We must avoid putting fire on straw, we should use only thick and big firewoods.
