The Sire

[A poem about desire]

He who searches finds
he who wants shall receive;

Desire upon our material world
is no more real than self illusion;

If this is what you truly wish for
may you achieve.

Just keep in mind, hold your thought
resistance is giving assistance

while seeing is the same
as believing in another Truth.

Inside nightmares of other beings
where this reality is nothing but
another faithful dream gone bad.

We can expect nothing,
there’s only a ladder to climb.

We must keep imagining
because —
the human ideal is a reference of direction
not an object of desire.
