Pink, Like your Brain

Poem 14

and the brain
where does it stay
in this though world

If pink is supposed to be girly
While blue is for the boys
our values have been wrong all the way
the color isn’t the definer
your culture is

It stays invisible as magical cloak
better study for the test
it will soon be April again

Spring is coming
and with it the wind to dust it of
better pick mine from the shelf
I’ll start using, like your brain
