Hometown

Poem 23

If I were to write about my hometown
giving a color to words and phrases
this would be
another big enchantment of poetry.

We will not, however, leave our text in half
as you might know,
Uber means new, super,
over and above, and beyond.

Those who were born in Uberland
such as me
are those meant to become
übermensch?

The same greatness
seen close by or from far away
does not look the same.
