After the whole day walking, the thing that I needed most was water. My head was pulsing in a never-ever ending pain. The more I walked the more my body screamed to stop walking. And yet, somehow I could stand up strongly enough to make another step. Little by little I was getting closer, and the pain was increasing in the same proportion.

It was a nice atmosphere in the night . The moon was above me, divided in half by the light. I could listen frogs moaning very far away, and I knew that where there are frogs there is water.

But one might ask: Where was I, and where was I heading to? I was in the middle of nothing, following this path. A trail surrounded by mid-sized trees in twisted formats and the feeling of peace was deep in my heart. The answer is still unknown.

Yes, this is a fake story… but my message here is about don’t giving up when you know that somehow, progress is the only option in life.

The moment we stop making progress, we are actually getting worse. And sometimes we don’t have a clear definition of where we are heading or where we come from, we can tell only where we are. And to stand up to do the work is hard.

When I wrote the above history my head was exploding in pain, and I felt like a truck had hit my body. It was 10 p.m and I haven't written nothing in the day. But the commitment I made with myself was to write everyday for a week, and then, I made a step forward. Turned the computer on and just typed whatever words I wanted. Now, one well slept night after, I am grateful for doing that. This act showed me that writing on this medium account is bigger than my physical comfort. And because of that, I realize what my purpose is: to write whatever words I want.

The most incredible thing is that, if I not only commit to write everyday for a week, but to form a habit out of writing, I think that in one month I am able to make so much progress, and in the long-term, become a powerful creator, that I already am.

“For me, I am an optimist. It does not seem to be much use being anything else” — Winston Churchill

This whole perspective make me feel grateful for writing a single fake story, and hope is only the love of life. I hope to create powerful stories each time I turn my computer on to just write. And the best way to predict the future is to invent it.
