Concrete

You only lose what you cling to

credit

walls not concrete separate us
made of an admirable jumble
of a fight where appearance won

apparently, we are vandals
trying to break the illusion
that beauty is only this hurricane.

so, me and you
we will be compliments of ourselves
while we try to find love
in a vain
